COVID-19 FAQ

General Operations:

We recognize the serious impact the COVID-19 virus is having on all our lives, businesses, and communities. All of our operations employees and sales staff continue to work remotely and our offices have remained closed. We are however in good spirits as we continually work to support our restaurant and retail customers during this difficult time. 

Our Wholesale Division also remains fully operational in supporting our national sales team and network of distributors. While unfortunately many bars and restaurants were ordered to close, liquor stores are considered “essential business” for most states and we are working hard to support their needs.

Warehouse Operations:

We are so grateful for our warehouse workers and delivery drivers who continue to ensure your deliveries remain uninterrupted. We now have extensive procedures and checks in place to protect workers’ health and well-being, including health and safety training, enhanced cleanings of our facilities and practicing physical distancing.

Our Florida warehouse and ALL third-party warehousing and logistics providers are open. We are in constant contact with all providers about any changes; will update this site with any developments.

Product Availability:

Our global supply chain is still running smoothly and we are restocking your favorite bottles on a daily basis. Our inventory is at a healthy level and we are in daily contact with our suppliers who are working hard to fulfill our reorder requests. 

Modified Delivery Updates:

FDL has limited the number of delivery days for certain areas as well as suspended pick-up service to limit the health risk to our drivers.

Here is the revised list of delivery days per region (updated 6/9)

        New York:

·       Manhattan: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

·       Bronx/Westchester/Rockland Counties: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

·       Brooklyn/Western LI/Queens/Staten Island: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

·       Eastern LI/Hamptons: Thursday ONLY

·       Suffolk County to Route 112: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

·       Mid-Hudson (Dutchess/Ulster/Putnam/Orange- as far as Kingston and Rhinebeck): Wednesday ONLY

        New Jersey:

·       North Jersey (North of Edison):  Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

·       Northwest NJ (Warren County)- Thursday-Friday (new change)

·       Central NJ (Mercer, Monmouth, Middlesex, and Hunterdon Counties): Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

·       Jersey Shore (Ocean, Atlantic, and Cape May Counties): Wednesday ONLY (new change)

·       Southwest NJ (Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Salem, Cumberland Counties): Wednesday, Friday

        Florida:

·       Now operating on normal schedule as of 5/20 (new change)

Keeping Our Customers Safe:

Keeping our customers and our workers safe is our top priority, as a result we have instituted a series of new procedures. Our drivers wear disposable food service gloves and masks for each delivery and shed the gloves them after facilitating each transaction and use a new set of gloves for each delivery.  They each have a kit that contains Lysol spray or sanitizing wipes that can be used to disinfect the scanner and other items that are shared between driver and customer.  Hand sanitizer is also used so that they can continuously sanitize their hands after contact with external surfaces or customers. We will continue to review and update these procedures based on the latest recommendations of the CDC and local health officials.
