Flechas de los Andes

Bodega Flechas De Los Andes is a result of the partnership between Baron Benjamin de Rothschild and Mr. Laurent Dassault on a unique terroir situated at the foot of the Andes cordillera, to the south of Mendoza. The Malbec grape variety reigns in this alluvial terroir of the Andes. The finest plots of the Flechas de Los Andes vineyards have been selected to offer you a wine that is the expression of a pure, top of the range Argentinean Malbec.

In 1997, under the leadership of Dr Anton Rupert and Baron Edmond de Rothschild, Rupert & Rothschild Vignerons was established. Both men later relinquished the reigns to their respective sons; Anthonij Rupert and Baron Benjamin de Rothschild. Following the passing of Anthonij Rupert in 2001, his older brother Johann Rupert and sister Hanneli Rupert-Koegelenberg assumed his position.

The name “Flechas de los Andes” or “Andes arrows” refers to the 5 arrows, symbol of the Rothschild family (symbolizing the five brothers at the origin of this dynasty of entrepreneurs). Both families Rothschild and Dassault are aiming to produce a wine of excellence. Built in 2003 and operational since the 2004 harvest, cellar Flechas de los Andes is a synthesis of all knowledge gained by experience of both partners in Bordeaux (Château Clarke and Château Dassault). Each harvest is handpicked, hand selected, and then fermented with high quality requirements in the most modern equipment. The beautiful estate is located at the foot of the Andes mountains, 120 km south of Mendoza.
