Reviews
James Suckling 90
Savory aromas of bramble, red tea, mushroom, clay and soil. Chocolate. It's medium-bodied with sleek, fine-grained tannins. Juicy and flavorful. A little short on the finish but nicely done. Drink now.

Tasting notes
A blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, & Malbec; Chateau Lafont Fourcat is filled with dark fruits, blackberries, boysenberries, and plum. Followed by an herbal lift and a touch of spices. The wine has a lasting finish rounding out the palate with a perfect crescendo. Enjoy alongside perfectly grilled meats.
Description
Château Lafont Fourcat is located in the Entre-Deux-Mers region, near the village of Castillon la Bataille and not far from Saint-Émilion. In 1993 the Chateau was acquired by Paul-Marie Morillon, who is also a consultant for Châteaux Ausone, Mondotte, and Yquem. The wines of Lafont Fourcat are produced with the help of Bordeaux's celebrated winemaker, Jean-Luc Thunevin, founder of highly sought-after Chateau Valandraud. These Bordeaux icons have joined forces to craft one of the best Bordeaux value wines.
