This is fresh and crunchy, with a salty, dark-berry and chocolate character. It's medium-bodied with delicious fruit. 90% merlot and 10% cabernet franc from Cotes de Castillon terroir. It's so attractive now. Why wait?

Background

The family de Bouard de Laforest, which for eight generations has been solely dedicated to the production of great wines in Saint Emilion, today has taken a step in an alternative direction with the creation of a new wine under the Bordeaux appellation.

Tasting notes

A delicious, savory red with aromas and flavors of blackcurrant, chocolate and cedar. A medium-bodied wine with fine, round tannins. Fresh and bright.

Vinification

In temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. They are cold soaked at 8C, alcoholic fermentation up to 28C. Fast running off of the wine after fermentation.
