Description

Les Vignobles Landié, a family property since 1980, is an estate of 240ha under the controlled appellations: Bordeaux Rouge, Bordeaux Blanc and Entre-deux-mers. Mr. Jean-François Landié, the owner, who comes from the Lotet-Garonne, began his career at a very young age as a simple wine worker. Since vines and wine are his two passions, he worked hard to acquire the current vineyards over the years. First of all, in 1970, he bought his first property of 30 ha in Cantois on the land of Bordeaux Haut Benauge. He immediately vinified his own wine in order to sell it in bulk. In the 80s and 90s, thanks to a quality product, he expanded by becoming the owner of an estate in Saint-Brice and Montignac to reach 45 ha.

In 1996, Mr. Landié built a modern stainless steel winery with cold storage facilities in the commune of Saint-Martin du Puy. From 1998, despite a favourable period for the sale of bulk wine, he changed his policy and started selling bottled wine. In 2002, he acquired a bottling line and sold all his production in bottles. In 2004, with the arrival of his two sons, one of whom is a qualified oenologist from the Faculty of Oenology in Bordeaux, a SCEA was set up at the same time as the purchase of a 15 ha property in Soussac. Since then, the SCEA has continued to grow until it now owns 240 ha of vines and the creation of a new winery at Porte de Benauge in August 2020. Vignobles Landié is a land, a story, the story of a man in love with his job and his land.
