Chateau Langlet 2015
Tasting notes
Garnet red color. A discreet nose releasing aromas of soft fruit, vanilla and spices. Medium to full-bodied on the palate repeating the bouquet of ripe soft fruit, with hints of roasting. A long, anise finish. Pair with roast beef with oven-baked shallots; Pan-fried flap mushrooms with garlic and parsley.
Estate
Château Langlet, located in the commune of Cabanac-Villagrains, near La Brède, is one of the oldest wines of the region. The vineyard, already listed for its production in the Féret Guide to « Bordeaux and its Wines » in 1868, is planted on a magnificently well exposed outcrop of deep gravels. Today, Château Langlet belongs to the Kressmann family which implements traditional cropping and vinification techniques to get the very best out of this exceptional terroir with the help of the team from Château Latour-Martillac.
