Vintage

Pessac Leognan
After a particularly wet winter, the break-up was disrupted by spring frosts, especially on the weekend of April 29th to May 1st, during which night temperatures had dropped below -3 Celsius. Despite an effective anti-freeze system, certain parcels will not be spared, and will need to be re-cut to encourage their restart.
The flowering will take place in good conditions despite a wet spring, and the beautiful output will give promising quantitative prospects, which will partially offset the losses caused by frost.
Until early July, the vineyards and our teams are regularly watered, which requires quickly manage large vegetation. This humid trend will totally reverse in the months of July and August which will be hot but dry and cool at night, very favorable to our vines.
An interesting water stress will be put in place, and gradually draw a promising vintage. Indeed, even if the grape harvests have been disturbed twice by heavy rainfall, whites are aromatic and have a nice freshness.
