Reviews
James Suckling 92-93
A tight, linear white with sliced-apple, lemon and crushed-stone character. Curated and precise texture. Long and intense.
by JS, James Suckling , 2021
Decanter 92
This has long been one of my 'insider picks' for the whites of Bordeaux and it is successful again this year, although a little more concentrated than in some years, with bitter almond hints on the finish. Majors on sculpted fruits and gentle citrus flavours.
by JA, Decanter , 2021
Robert Parker 89-91
Opening with alluring notions of spiced apples, fresh nectarines and guava, the 2020 Cruzeau Blanc has an undercurrent of beeswax and musk perfume. The medium-bodied palate bursts with peachy and tropical fruit layers, lifted by a racy backbone and finishing with a zesty kick.

Vinous Media 90-92
The 2020 Chateau de Cruzeau Blanc has a perfumed nose of yellow plum, nectarine and honeysuckle scents and hints of Swiss roll, all quite irresistible. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity; crisp red apple and orange zest intermingle with pithy pear notes toward the finish. This is a delicious Pessac-Leognan in the making.

Technical Details
Description
Since the 17th century, nature has been especially generous to Château de Cruzeau, whose superb gravel rises with perfect sun exposure were predestined for winegrowing. Today, the estate has nearly 100 hectares of vines. The wines of Château Cruzeau are widely recognized for their great finesse and elegance.
History
ANDRÉ LURTON is the company’s founder, for almost 70 years he dedicated his life to his vines, as only a man born in a wine chateau could do. Jacques Lurton now runs the family estates; he was nominated president of the group by his family in June 2019. His vast winemaking experience around the world over 30 years, has given him inspired and creative vision which he now transmits to the Vignobles Andre Lurton.
Tasting notes
Clear, brilliant color, with a nice pale yellow hue and some silver highlights. The nose is expressive, fresh, very aromatic, marked by notes of white fruit (peach, nectarine, pear) and slightly lemony accents. On the palate, it is a wine with a structure, a good balance with nice freshness. Notes of white fruit, but also of citrus (lemon) dominate the palate. The oak is well
Integrated with good length. It will be a pleasure to drink as an aperitif, with grilled salmon, pork loin or aged cheeses.
