Reviews
Decanter 91
Smells aromatic, seriously floral and perfumed - expressive with tropical notes on the nose; peach, pineapple and honeyed lemons with crisp green apple. Nice acidity, but soft, so this is more focussed on a cool, creamy peach, orange and apple flavour. Generous but calm and controlled with clear structure- an appealing overall weight on the palate with succulence that then gives way to nuances of cool white fruits and some delicate minerality- flint and wet stone. Soft, charming and easy to drink.

Technical Details
Description
Since the 17th century, nature has been especially generous to Château de Cruzeau, whose superb gravel rises with perfect sun exposure were predestined for winegrowing. Today, the estate has nearly 100 hectares of vines. The wines of Château Cruzeau are widely recognized for their great finesse and elegance.
History
ANDRÉ LURTON is the company’s founder, for almost 70 years he dedicated his life to his vines, as only a man born in a wine chateau could do. Jacques Lurton now runs the family estates; he was nominated president of the group by his family in June 2019. His vast winemaking experience around the world over 30 years, has given him inspired and creative vision which he now transmits to the Vignobles Andre Lurton.
Tasting notes
Clear, brilliant color, with a nice pale yellow hue and some silver highlights. The nose is expressive, fresh, very aromatic, marked by notes of white fruit (peach, nectarine, pear) and slightly lemony accents. On the palate, it is a wine with a structure, a good balance with nice freshness. Notes of white fruit, but also of citrus (lemon) dominate the palate. The oak is well
Integrated with good length. It will be a pleasure to drink as an aperitif, with grilled salmon, pork loin or aged cheeses.
