Estate
Château Larose Trintaudon is respected as one of the top estates within the Haut-Médoc. They routinely produce highly rated wines that exhibit great quality and character. This estate continues to produce some of our top selling wines; they always over deliver, for the price.
This prestigious estate was recently designated a “Cru Bourgeois Superieur” in the new 2020 classification. (This selection is made by an independent panel of experts and will be reviewed every five years. Several factors are considered including agricultural, environmental and technical as well as site visits. Multiple vintages are then blind tasted from each Chateau to determine the final classification. The first labels to carry the new classification will be featured on the 2018 vintage labels.)

Tasting notes
The deep, ruby-red color is intense and bright. The nose is dominated by fresh red fruit, backed by subtle oaky aromas which add to the overall complexity. On the palate the attack is bold and well-rounded, with well-integrated tannins and an excellent sense of balance. The elegant finish is long, fruity and velvety. Ideal with a selection of cured meats and cheeses or served with grilled meat dishes.
