This is wonderfully perfumed with blackcurrant and floral aromas that follow through to a medium to full body with super-integrated tannins that go on to the very end. Bright and vivid. One of the best Dauzacs ever. 73% cabernet sauvignon and 27% merlot.

The 2019 Dauzac is an absolutely gorgeous wine that will appeal most to readers who enjoy sumptuous, flamboyant Bordeauxs. Plush, silky tannins envelop the finish, adding to the wine's considerable allure. The unabashedly flamboyant style is surely not for everyone, but there is certainly plenty to like here. Waves of inky dark fruit, chocolate, spice, sweet oak, chocolate and espresso linger on the huge finish.

Rich, ripe and forward, with mouthfilling waves of plum sauce and blackberry preserve, joined by anise, singed alder and ganache notes through the finish. Very solid for the vintage. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
