A chunky and powerful 2018 with lots of berry, chocolate and walnut character. Full body. Flavorful.

The 2018 La Tour de Mons is deep garnet-purple colored, opening with cedar over red and black fruit, black cherries and dried herbs with a waft of mossy bark. The palate is full-bodied, firm and grainy with an oaky finish.

Stylish, with a velvety texture to the mix of crushed plum and blackberry fruit, dried anise and singed alder. Perfumy through the finish, with the fruit showing good depth. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
