Tasting notes
This wine has a shimmering deep garnet colour that is still not very evolved. The nose is very intense and complex, with woody notes of cedar and beeswax. This complexity also develops with notes of blackcurrant liqueur, blackberries and dried fruit. Very fresh attack, the tannins are tight and extremely fine, notes of cherry brandy emerge in a very elegant structure continuing with good length. Overall the wine is very balanced and has tremendous finesse. The finish is characterized by notes of dried fruit and berry preserves. Made with 35% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, this wine is very pleasant to drink now or could be kept for another 15 to 20 years.
