Sweet and ripe currants with dark cherries, too. Floral and perfumed. Medium-bodied with firm, silky tannins and a fresh, vivid finish. Second wine of Pedesclaux. 67% merlot, 27% cabernet sauvignon and 6% petit verdot.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Fleur de Pedesclaux offers up expressive notes of baked plums, boysenberries and warm red and black cherries with touches of bouquet garni, black olives and truffles. Medium-bodied, the palate is chock-full of juicy black fruits, framed by ripe grainy tannins and loads of freshness, finishing long with lovely purity.
