Product Ratings
James Suckling 93pt

A Sauternes with lovely harmony and finesse with dried fruit, mushrooms and peaches. Some pears, too. This is very subtle. Medium-bodied with beautiful sweetness (not too much) and creamy texture. Shows length and finesse. Drinkable now, yet it will last a very long time.

Vinous Media 97pt

The 2017 Clos Haut-Peyraguey is fabulously rich and dense, not to mention every bit as impressive as it was en primeur. Creamy, nuanced, powerful, sumptuous, the 2017 possesses tons of nuance and sheer depth. Lemon confit, baked pineapple, mint, honey, chamomile and apricot are some of the many aromas and flavors that develop in the glass. The balance of unctuousness and freshness is beguiling.

Wine Advocate 92+pt

The 2017 Clos Haut-Peyraguey offers up aromas of key lime pie, candied orange peel and pineapple upside-down cake with hints of peach blossoms and gingerbread. It has loads of layers on the satin-textured palate with bold freshness and a long, spicy finish.

by Wine Advocate, 2020
Wine Enthusiast 96pt

This is a full and rich wine that is also stylish and balanced. It has acidity, layers of spice and ripe botrytis fruit.

by Wine Enthusiast, 2018
Wine Spectator 93pt

Very lush and forward, with creamed pear, warm peach melba and hazelnut notes set against a backdrop of warm piecrust. Bold and broad through the finish. Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc.
