The 100% Pinot Noir from Domaine Moutard glows light red in the glass, yielding aromas of tart cranberry, ripe strawberry, and hints of brown spices. On the palate, soft cherry fruit eases into fleshed-out raspberry elements. The finish is bright and elongated, tying together a very charming, easy-to-drink Burgundy.

The families of Moutard Diligent have been living in the village of Buxeuil since the mid 17th century, and have a long tradition of both grape growing and wine production. The vineyard soils are made up of clays and limestones, lending to rich, fruity aromas and good minerality. The Moutard-Diligent family can trace their history of viticulture as far back as 1642, but it was not until the 1920s that they began producing under their own name.
