Tasting notes
Of a ruby color embellished by garnet lights, our Bourgogne Gamay is complex on the nose with aromas of black fruits, mocha and cloves. Ample and long in the mouth, the tannins are silky. Nice freshness on the finish.
Food Pairing: Charcuterie - roasts - cheese

Estate
The Latour family founded the ‘Maison de négoce’, an important shipping company, in 1797, and it is still based at 18 Rue des Tonneliers in Beaune to this day. The company is unique in Burgundy in that it is still family-owned and family-run, having been passed down from father to son for ten generations over 200 years. Maison Louis Latour ships its wines to over 180 countries worldwide. These world-class Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs can be found on the most famous dining tables around the globe.
Description
Bourgogne Gamay became a new regional appellation as of the 2011 vintage. The grapes must come exclusively from the Beaujolais Crus. Gamay from the vineyards of the Beaujolais and Beaujolais-Villages appellations cannot be used in the case of this new appellation. Our approach is to produce a wine which focuses on fruit and freshness with consistent quality.
