The NV Reserve Brut Rose is perfumed and floral with notes of crushed rose petal, tangerine, and peach. The palate is dry, with a spine of acidity, a structured core, and chalky earth. Its perfume gives way to its driving orange peel citrus and wild strawberry fruit. It has enough structure that I would be happy to have this on my holiday table.

A slew of red-berry, candied-orange and leaf-tea aromas welcomes you to this well-structured rose Champagne. Bright acidity that's quite pronounced at the slightly vegetal finish, but this also provides some tension. Based on 2014 base wines with 25% reserve wines, mostly of 3-8 years of age, the color coming from 5% pinot noir red wine from Les Riceys.

Light, bright orange. Intensely perfumed scents of raspberry, orange zest, white flowers and chalky minerals. Juicy and precise in the mouth, offering vibrant red berry and blood orange flavors and a complicating hint of brioche. The floral quality comes back strong on the very long, incisive finish, which features a subtle anise quality and smoky minerality. About 20% of the Pinot Noir here was in the form of still red wine.

Like many Charles Heidsieck Champagnes, this bottling has a fine poise between freshness and maturity. Coming through the yeasty aroma are rich white fruit and textured, toasty flavors. It is full and now ready to drink.

A harmonious rose Champagne that layers bright, buoyant acidity and satiny texture with a fine range of yellow peach, strawberry, biscuit and crystallized honey flavors. Minerally hints of smoke and saline show on the finish. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Disgorged 2022.

Delivering scents of crisp red apple, peach, white flowers, warm biscuits and fresh bread, the NV Rose Reserve is based on the 2018 vintage and was disgorged early this year. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with lively acids and a racy, fine-boned profile, it's an elegant, pillowy wine that's already showing well.

LIKE THE BRUT RÉSERVE, the Rosé Réserve must meet numerous demands. It is the culmination of many deliberate, well-considered decisions. COMPLEXITY: The 80% of wines from the harvest year are blended with one third of each variety (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier) while the 20% of reserve wines are blended in equal proportions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. All are vinified cru by cru, variety by variety, in stainless steel vats. PRECISION: To reach perfect balance, between freshness and delicacy on the one hand and structure and complexity on the other, the Chef de Caves applies the “House signature” by introducing reserve wines intentionally selected younger - on average 7 or 8 years - than those in the Brut Réserve. GENEROSITY: The 5 to 6% of great wines vinified as red naturally provide tannins and the scent of red fruits, to which the Chef de Caves will add judiciously for a full-bodied, generous wine. INTENSITY: Matured for over three years in the unique, thousand-year-old crayères purchased by Charles Heidsieck in 1867. Part of the historical sites of the UNESCO’s world heritage list, the crayères inspired the large base and narrow neck of the new silhouette for the non-vintage wine bottles.
