The NV Champagne Rose Sauvage sports a medium ruby color as well as a vivid nose of wild strawberries, caramelized cherries, and herbes de Provence. It's medium-bodied and supple, with a fleshy, racy texture and a good finish. It's another outstanding Champagne from this house and will drink beautifully for upwards of a decade.

This crowd-pleaser offers a lovely, lacy mousse and appealingly juicy flavors of baked peach, raspberry coulis, toasted brioche and kumquat. Fresh and well-knit, with a lingering finish. Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.

Description
Rosé Sauvage is a rosé like few others to be found in Champagne. An unusually large proportion of red wines give this Rosé champagne its unique personality. A cuvée particularly daring with a deep ruby color and a unique structure. Rosé Sauvage is a perfect table champagne and will pair wonderfully with a Sunday barbecue in the country.
Estate
The most awarded Champagne house of the Century! Steeped in history, innovation and excellence have been at the heart of Piper-Heidsieck since 1785 when Florens-Louis Heidsieck founded his Champagne House with the dream to create a ‘cuveé worthy of a queen’. That dream was realized when he boldly presented his first cuvee to Queen Marie Antoinette and she declared love at first sip. She quickly became the champagne’s first brand ambassador and when Henri-Guillaume Piper joined the Reims venture in 1815, he and Florens-Louis’ nephew Christian Heidsieck set out to promote the Champagne House’s reputation well beyond the borders of France. Today, Piper-Heidsieck is poured in over 100 countries and is the most awarded Champagne House of the century, with over 275 medals.
Tasting notes
Its dazzling appearance brings to mind a shiny ruby; deep scarlet in color - almost poppy red. Intense aromas of dark berry fruits - imagine blackberry, blackcurrant and strawberry - with mandarin orange and traces of saffron. Juicy berry fruits in the middle-palate, spiced and smoked notes in its stunning finale, this champagne is a mischievous delight.
