Reviews
Robert Parker 91
The Mastrojanni 2021 Rosso di Montalcino has pretty fruit over an accessible style with sweet cherry, redcurrant, toasted almond, dragon fruit and a hint of wet asphalt. The wine pumps on two fronts with a sweet fruity side and a husky side of walnut or chestnut hull.

Technical Details
Estate
Mastrojanni has been writing history with its wines since 1975, collecting awards from all over the world. Today, thanks to an exceptional terroir and men who have believed in it for decades, Mastrojanni has become one of the most respected Montalcino producers. The Mastrojanni winery lies in Castelnuovo dell’Abate, in the south eastern most corner of Montalcino Municipality, in the Province of Siena. An artistic and architectural heritage, surrounded by the majesty of its natural landscapes and, above all, an area particularly suitable for vine cultivation: the homeland of Brunello.
Tasting notes
Bright ruby red with purple streaks, nicely intense and vivacious. The nose is characterized by an intriguing youthful classicism, featuring fragrant and juicy sour cherry. The palate is intense on entry with a pleasantly tannic and savoury ending. Pairs with all courses of a meal, the perfect enhancement for grilled red meats.
