Reviews
Decanter 91
Elegant, deep and layered nose with led by spirit-infused cherries, crushed violets and medicinal herbs. The palate is surprisingly fresh, with the juiciness of ripe red fruit (Stewed cherries, cherry pie, pomegranates, strawberry jam) lined by macerated Mediterranean herbs. Very soft tannins and vibrant, but soft, acidity. Very well presented.

Wine Enthusiast 91
This deep violet-colored wine has a nose of cassis, blackberry and tar. Black-cherry, raspberry, cocoa-powder and caramel flavors are wrapped in velvety tannins that sail into a lengthy, orange-zest-infused finish.

History
In Altos de Luzon we pay homage to the special character of the Jumilla land. Its harsh climate and average altitude of 650 metres bring about dry and rugged conditions. In these lands, the Monastrell grape finds its inspiration and its reason for being. This is where it excels and performs at its optimal level. Jumilla's wine-growing history, like its people is defined by the landscape: on the outside rough and hardy, but inside full of beauty and riches.
Tasting notes
Deep red color with brilliant ruby reflections. Fragrances are expressive and intense, with touches of red and black fruits and soft, spices and soft smoked from the ageing. Fresh and lively, that speaks of the vintage, supported by its fruity character. Full-bodied with volume, fine tannins and a lingering finish in which the wine's complexity comes to the fore. 100% Organic Monastrell. Serve at a temperature between 14 to 16 degrees Celcius.
