James Suckling 92
A meaty and chewy red with notes of blackcurrants, walnuts, mint jelly and roasted meat. Full-bodied, with pleasantly chewy tannins that melt into savory and tasty layers of black fruit. Drink or hold.

Description
The Eguren family has been directly linked to vine growing
since 1870. Today’s fifty & sixth generation of the family carry
on the philosophy and history of the winery as embodied
by their founder Vitorino Eguren Ugarte and his wife
Mercedes Cendoya. This family winery has managed to
maintain the traditions of winemaking, as well as the incorporation
of all the latest growing and wine-making techniques, resulting in
exceptional wines that have won major national and international awards.
Tasting notes
Color: Handsome chromatic cherry with a bluish robe.
Nose: Aromatically intense with mysterious, seductive and elegant notes. In the nose it shows hints of blackberry, black liquorice, touches of wild anise and sweet plum puree.
Palate: Luxurious, mouth-watering and well armed with a touch of acidity which gives it
freshness and subtly counters the sweetness of well ripened grapes.
