Tasting notes
Artalade Montagna Vineyard: Deep, dark raven black with touches of crimson red and candy red on the rim. On the nose: Explosion of minerality, warm stone, thyme and oregano with milk chocolate, cedar, cinnamon and nutmeg. On the palate: Big round entrance evolving fast on a mineral mid-palate with granular tannins and touches of milk chocolate, graphite and black fruit, lingering on a silky finish with juicy fruit like cherry, plum and touches of potpourri.
Sacrashe Vineyard: Dark black oil with touches of scarlet on the rim. On the nose: Beautiful balance between fruit, spices and herbs with touches of pepper, crushed red pepper flakes and rosemary, lingering on dark cherry preserve. On the palate: Silky entrance evolving on a fresh mid-palate with granular tannins, touches of mulberry, persimmon and plum, lingering on gingerbread and lilac.
Denali Vineyard: Shiny, deep ruby on the rim. Expressive nose of elderberry and clay, lingering on bacon, licorice and paprika. On the palate: Soft, velvety entrance evolving on a framed mid-palate with fresh blueberry, lavender and boysenberry, lingering on licorice and bay leaf.
All wines received the exact same vinification treatments:
Varietal: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Fermentation: 100% Barrel Fermented 27 days on skins. Aging: 23 months, 100% French Oak, 70% New. Case Production: 240
