Pumps out solid plum sauce, melted black licorice and blackberry preserve flavors, along with hints of sweet bay leaf and roasted apple wood. This has a loamy tug through the finish, too. A strapping Cabernet.

Marked by notes of mint and dusty earth, plus plenty of dark-berried fruit, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard is a ripe, rich wine, imbued with ample concentration and weight. Yes, it's full-bodied and tannic but also soft and plush, those smoothly buffed tannins leaving a velvety trail on the palate that lingers easily on the lengthy finish.
