The 2021 Chardonnay needs a little swirling to uncover notes of white peaches, fresh pears, and lemon tart, plus hints of struck flint, wet slate, and lime blossoms. The medium-bodied palate is tight-knit and refreshing, with minerally accents to the delicate stone fruit flavors, finishing chalky.

Scents of oak spice, light toast, and baked apples are very attractive, and the flavors deliver on the promise of the bouquet. Concentrated and very flavorful yet not heavy or sweet, the wine shows excellent proportionality with its components of fruit, acidity, and wood.
