Finished in French oak barrels that previously held Pinot Noir, this blend of two-, three-, and four-year-old rye whiskeys from Sonoma wine country is a voluptuous beauty, with plump scents of butterscotch and nougat. Round and medium-bodied, it's chock-full of flavors such as peach, walnut, cocoa, and black cherry. The clean yet spiced cedar finish is striking and memorable, lingering and warming without a rush of alcohol. 90 proof.

Bright zingy lemon greets the nose, mingled with hints of baked apple and sugar cookies. Stick with it, and earthier herbaceous notes present themselves. On the palate, more fresh lemon is balanced beautifully by powdered sugar, bold cinnamon spice, and, at the tail end, bitter dark chocolate. The finish is lengthy, softening out from the zippy citrus and spice to a lighter honeyed sweetness and a delicious dollop of milk chocolate

A delightful aromatic medley of bright pear and inviting cinnamon toast, accented by fresh herbal notes of dill and mint. On the palate, a rich, full-bodied rounded mouthfeel with ripe fruits intertwined with warm allspice, with a persistent length.

In this way, the story of Ammunition isn’t Andy and Bill's story at all, but rather a shared celebration of the values, work ethic and ingenuity upon which this nation was built. This is a story about the underdog. About being uncompromising on quality even when faced with the prospect of competing with wineries many times our size. About believing so much in what you're doing, that you're willing to swim upstream even in the swiftest of waters. Every drop they produce represents their uncommon (and admittedly, at times, obsessive) pursuit of perfection. It’s the result of long hours, hard work and sleepless nights.
In the end, they know that nothing worth doing is ever easy. But make no mistake, they wouldn’t have it any other way.
