Tasting notes
Well-structured, with red berry flavors, notes of spice and gentle floral hints supported
by silky tannins and a long, well-structured finish.
Vineyard
The Oregon Route Pinot Noir is produced from several single vineyard plots throughout the
Willamette Valley. The majority of the grapes are from an estate vineyard planted in 2005 to
the 667 clone at an elevation of 200-220 feet and LIVE certified.
Vinification
The vineyards are organically farmed and handpicked in small lots. The grapes are cold
soaked for 6 days for the gentle extraction of color and flavor. The grapes are then fermented
in small temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for 12 days with hand punch downs and
pumped over two to three times daily. The final wine was then aged for 7 months in French
oak before blending. Produced to vegan standards.
