Tasting notes
Moulin de Gassiot has a powerful and sophisticated dark ruby color. The nose offers gorgeous aromas of ripe fruits accompanied by a delicate greedy touch of hazelnut and vanilla. It is a round and well-structured wine which has a nice and long finish.
Description
Château Moulin de Gassiot comes from the Entre-Deux-Mers region. The vineyard located at about 80 km southeast of the city of Bordeaux is one of the largest wine producing areas in the Bordeaux region The vintage is characterized by a series of counterpoints, the vintage saw a mild winter, a very rainy spring, and a summer without rain from mid-June to mid-August. Approachable yet structured, classic with layered opulence, ripe yet fresh. It has been described as sophisticated and a vintage with great balance and tannin structure.
