The vineyard is composed of 80% Merlot, with the remainder Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines are planted on chalky-day soils, ideal for these grape varietals. The grapes were harvested at full maturity to keep the maximum expression of fruitiness. The grapes are sorted out and the fermentation is conducted in thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks. This wine is a true expression of its terroir.

Chateau Terre Blanche has been a family estate for 4 generations, the vineyard covers a total of 90 acres around the city of Castillon La Bataille, famous for a battle during the 15th Century. Today, the father and son team take care of the vines planted on steep hillsides with a great exposure, mainly South by Southwest, with a combination of tradition and modern techniques to constantly improve the quality. In 2018 the vineyard was Eco certified HVE2.

Chateau Terre Blanche has a glorious deep ruby color and intense bouquet of red fruits on the nose. On the palate, the wine is powerful with notes of black fruits and round with soft tannins. A great companion to beef, veal, game, and poultry. Composed from a blend of 80% Merlot, with the remainder Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
