This Sauternes displays a beautiful amber-colored hue and a nose of expressive exotic
Fruits and honey. The palate unveils jammy fruit and fresh citrus flavors, which add a touch of
lightness to the rich layers. Complex and showing excellent depth and a very long finish.
Description
Right in the heart of Sauternes, Château Romer du Hayot has selected different
batches from 40+ year old plots in order to produce “R de Romer du Hayot”. Grown on ideal limestone and gravel soils, all of the grapes for this classic Sauternes are hand harvested and sorted several times.
The estate deeply respect the traditions that have contributed to these renown
wines, but they also use the most modern winemaking and barrel ageing
(6-8 months) techniques to further enhance the R de Romer du Hayot. This pretty Sauternes shows an unrivaled bouquet with great length and complexity.
