Tasting Notes
On the nose, the wine develops a ripe fruit, both fresh and spicy with a beautiful precision and a nice finesse. In the mouth, the wine is rich, dense, well-rounded, soft with a nice aromatic length. These are the characteristics of a highly noble vintage.

But then after and for the rest of the vine’s development, the temperatures were balanced. This contributed to a good development of the grapes’ maturity.
The summer was particularly sunny and a little warmer than average – yet with neither high nor burning temperatures. The autumn season was noticeably warmer than normal.
Between mid-June and mid-September, the very low rainfall allowed a progressive hydric stress, giving the vines the opportunity to build an interesting tannic potential. From 15th to 20th September providential rains helped the transformation of the skins.
Afterwards, the good weather settled for one month, allowing a progressive and perfect maturation of the grapes. The grapes were picked between September 22nd and October 8th. Thanks to ideal weather conditions, all the plots were harvested in perfect maturity and in an outstanding sanitary state.
