Product Ratings
James Suckling 93pt

Black fruit, cherry stones, tar, walnut husk and undergrowth on the nose. It's medium-to full-bodied with firm, finely knit tannins. Layered and polished with a firm, mineral finish.

Vinous Media 93pt

The 2019 Larrivet Haut-Brion is terrific. Dark, fleshy and resonant in the glass. Wild cherry, tobacco, incense, leather, smoke and game all take shape in this potent wine. Franc top notes lend quite a bit of aromatic presence, but then again, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc make up most of the blend. Once again, Larrivet Haut-Brion is a classy, under the radar gem.

Wine Advocate 90+pt

Generous and fleshy, the 2019 Malartic Lagraviere bursts with aromas of smoky blackberries, plums, forest floor and spices. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, rich and muscular, with ripe acids and a generously extracted, chewy profile. This will need a bit of time to round out in bottle.

Wine Enthusiast 95pt

Luscious ripe fruits are underlined by tannins to give a wine that is both structured and concentrated. Rich tannins, spice aromas and power are all enclosed in this wine that is ready to age.

Wine Spectator 91pt

Open-knit, with a good ripe and friendly core of plum and black currant preserve flavors. Offers licorice root, tarry and savory notes that streak the finish and add range. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
