Tasting notes
Beautiful pale gold color. Its aromas, resulting from the blend of three grape varieties, and its fine light foam, make this wine very elegant. Light and fine on the palate, with round notes obtained thanks to a little touch of Muscat. Persistent and fruity finish. To be enjoyed very chilled from aperitif to dessert, or in a cocktail.
Description
The Crémant de Die has been AOC classified since 1993 and comes from vineyard plots along the Drôme valley, France. The vineyard is located on both banks of the river, at an altitude of between 200 and 700 meters. It lies within the same area as the Clairette de Die and borders the Alps and Provence. It’s dry in the summer, the days are hot and nights are cool; winter is influenced by the Vercors mountain climate. The soil is composed of clay-limestone. Installed in a privileged valley with sunny slopes, the Carod family has taken care of the vines for several generations with passion and know-how.
