Labiette Castille VS Signature displays a rich nose with intense aromas of orange blossom, hyacinth and pear. Aromas of plums and honey with subtle notes of vanilla. It is nicely refined and delicate. In the mouth, this bas armagnac offers a lot of softness and roundness, with a persistant aromatic expression that leads to slightly woody aromas, vanilla and ripe fruits.

To be enjoyed as an aperitif before any meal, straight or on ice or even slightly chilled, or as a cocktail base. It will also nicely conclude a dinner.

The Labiette Castille estate is located in the heart of the Bas Armagnac region, in one of the most renowned terroirs of the appellation. This superb terroir is composed of a mix of fawn-colored sands and clay. The single-estate was founded in 1898 by Joseph Noulens, a very influential French State man. In the early twentieth century, Noulens was the Minister of Foreign Affairs during the Russian Revolution (1917), Minister of Finance and Minister of Agriculture, under the G. Clemenceau government. Since 1974, Labiette Castille belongs to the Lesgourgues Family who also owns Château de Laubade in the same region of Bas Armagnac.
