Cherry red color. Intense and complex nose dominated by black fruit. Notes of plums, blackberries, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Smooth, round tannins on the palate with an elegant fruity finish.
Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30 % Tempranillo, 20% Merlot

Bodega Otazu is the northernmost winery producing red wine in Spain, they are located in the heart of Navarra wine productions region. Bodega Otazu was the first French style winery built in 1840 in Navarra. In terms of architecture, its spectacular barrels room stands out, composed of 9 vaults of cement and designed like a cathedral, in this case, a wine cathedral. Since 2009 Bodega Otazu is one of only 14 wineries in Spain to have the recognition of "Vino de Pago". This is the highest category that vineyard can obtain. Such recognition allows Otazu to produce wines under its very own Denomination of Origin "Pago de Otazu ".
