The Kavaklidere Classic, Cankaya White is bright light yellow in appearance. The nose is full of pronounced citrus and white fruits. The palate is lively, buttery, and delicious with persistent and intense fruit flavors. Matches perfectly with grilled fish, sea food salads, tomato sauced pastas, grilled chicken and fresh cheeses. Estate
The Kavaklidere winery is the oldest and best known winery in Turkey. Founded by the And family, it is located in Ankara, near the Euphrates River, where grapes have been cultivated since 4000 BC. It is named after a historic neighborhood in the city. In 2005 Kavaklidere founded Kav Vin Inc. with the aim of developing viticulture and wine production in Turkey. Kavaklidere continues its viticultural research and development activities, promoting indigenous Anatolian grape varieties and at the same time trying to adapt the international grape varieties to its vineyards located in different regions of Turkey. The winery has won more than 1300 medals in national and international competitions to date and is one of the most popular Turkish wineries both domestic and internationally.
