Tasting notes
The Estate Rosé of Pinot Noir is bright pink in color with aromas of juicy strawberry, cherry, tropical lychee and vanilla cream. Dry on the palate with a medium-body, round mouthfeel and vibrant flavors of nectarine, peach, honeysuckle and minerality. The refreshing acidity creates a lively and clean finish.
Description
Sourced from our sustainably-farmed Elton and Tualatin Estate Vineyards, the grapes were gently whole cluster pressed and fermented in stainless steel to deliver expressive aromas and flavors with a crisp, dry finish. Certified Vegan
Estate
One of the longest serving estates in Oregon, Willamette Valley Vineyards was founded in 1983 by Oregon wine pioneer, Jim Bernau. Jim cleared away an old pioneer plum orchard in the Salem Hills to start his first vineyard. Over time Willamette Valley Vineyards has considerably increased their estate vineyards. Willamette Valley Vineyards sources all of its Pinot Noir from their nearly 500 acres of estate vineyards. Since the winery founding stewardship of the land has been a key principle in our winemaking. They practice environmentally sustainable farming and are part of the founding of the Low Input Viticulture and Enology (LIVE) program.
Food pairing
Serve chilled. This rosé is a versatile wine to pair with food as it can stand up to complex cuisines yet is comfortable with simple salads and seasonal vegetables. Enjoy with salmon sliders, ahi tuna, vegetable curries, bruschetta, balsamic chicken kabobs, wood-fired flatbreads, niçoise salads, cheese and charcuterie boards.
